Earth-Bird

I've thought of the Earth, it's cities emblazoned with street lights, it's country dotted with wisps of wheat and stalks of corn and cicadas; i've thought of the Earth and all it's visible and invisible elements as a great bird regurgitating its foods into our open, screeching maws.  It's just a matter of being hungry and needing to grow.  We don't, perhaps, magically end up in the nest.  Or perhaps we do.
